AutoUncle is a start-up company that was founded in 2010 in Denmark. The goal for AutoUncle from the beginning was to bring more transparency to the used car market and thereby make digital car trading more attractive. In the meantime, AutoUncle operates throughout Europe and searches used car portals for offers. The ads are collected and compared, which then ends in a rating for each ad. The rating is based on the specific characteristics for each vehicle, which is compared with other similar or identical vehicles. Even the Danish Ministry of Taxation uses AutoUncle to estimate the price of vehicles.
